The Communist is a Communist Trotskyist fortnightly newspaper published in Britain by the Revolutionary Communist Party.[2]

The paper focuses on social, political and trade union issues with the "aim to provide a genuine voice for the working class".[3]

The Communist is the successor to Socialist Appeal[4] and is produced by the International Marxist Tendency in Britain.[2]
