Pacific Motorway (Ewingsdale–Brisbane) has been moved to Pacific Motorway (Brisbane–North Coast NSW). There are some issues with capitalisation - "North Coast NSW" isn't actually a place so "coast" should not be capitalised, and I'm not sure about using "NSW" in the title. New South Wales North Coast is an article so it would seem more appropriate to use that name. When we moved Sydney–Newcastle Freeway and Pacific Motorway, we decided to go with south-north consistency so the articles were moved to Pacific Motorway (Sydney–Newcastle) and Pacific Motorway (Ewingsdale–Brisbane) respectively. Following that, Pacific Motorway (Brisbane–North Coast NSW) should really be Pacific Motorway (New South Wales North Coast–Brisbane), but I'm not sure how that fits in with our naming conventions. Any suggestions? --AussieLegend (✉) 03:53, 21 January 2015 (UTC)

The Editing team is asking for your help with VisualEditor. I am contacting you because you posted to a feedback page for VisualEditor. Please tell them what they need to change to make VisualEditor work well for you. The team has a list of top-priority problems, but they also want to hear about small problems. These problems may make editing less fun, take too much of your time, or be as annoying as a paper cut. The Editing team wants to hear about and try to fix these small things, too.

The shape conveys information– only if you already know what the shapes & colours mean. Do you (or really, does the general reader) implicitly know what the following route marker designs mean , if the only caption is road name? In any case, I agree that other editing (adding and improving content and references) is more important than stylistic issues – MOS compliance isn't so important until the quality is approaching Good Article level, and full compliance isn't actually required until it's up for Featured Article status. Anyway, thank you for your work on improving articles on roads South Australia, and feel free to leave me a message (or ping me) if you need any help with junction lists, infoboxes, or other templates (or other matters). - Evad37 [talk] 02:45, 4 April 2015 (UTC)

Hi Evan,
I work for Fremantle Prison YHA and have been apart of the development of the site, so I can assure you the update was correct. I'm not really sure how to reference it apart from referencing YHA and I did not want to advertise the business. Also I had a read of the citation page, and the general advice was that given the type of content it does not need to be cited. I also note that the material about the other content about it's use for a tafe and wedding chapel is not cited. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EMurrell785 (talk • contribs) 08:18, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi Evan, Thanks for that and thanks for the tips. I don't think I'll be editing too many pages, I actually happened to be reading the Wikipedia page to gets some facts to provide guests with and thought it could be added! Opening date is still not confirmed, mostly due to things outside of our control, but we are aiming for last will of April. Once it's confirmed/opened you I can let you know and you can update it if you like. Thanks! Lizzie. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.7.114.50 (talk) 05:05, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

Hi Evad37: Since it appears that we'll soon be going with a 5-per week format (in week 21 of 2015), I created ((TAFI five weekly selections notice)) from ((TAFI weekly selections notice)), which you have contributed significantly to. I could use some help with the new template's coding in the Last week's selections area. It may take me some time to figure this out, whereas you appear to be fluent in these types of matters. In particular, after the first week of five selections, the next week will need to have five articles in this section from the previous week's entries. Also alerting EuroCarGT to this discussion, as they have been very kind in sending out the notices to users with this template using mass messaging. North America1000 23:04, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

I'm looking to have the two images horizontally side-by-side, rather than stacked vertically. I'm looking to use the caption to the right on this page as the caption for TAFI. It seems to be a bit complex reworking Template:TAFI/Picture box to do so, so perhaps a one-off can be created for week 22. Your assistance regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated. Hi Evad (Dave?). Thanks for the FAR review on O-Bahn Busway. I am gradually looking at it. I have added the infobox and interchange names tonight. The templates didn't seem to pass through all the parameters properly, so in the process, I have modified ((AUSintcore)), ((SAint)), and ((AUSinttop)). I've also updated Max Fatchen Expressway to display the interchange names, since they had been intended to display before, but didn't have the syntax quite right anyway. As you are the main contributor to these templates, I am letting you know deliberately, as I don't have a good set of test cases to make sure I did not inadvertently ruin some other articles in the process of fixing the ones I am thinking about tonight. I also haven't looked at whether the other state templates also need the same fixes. Cheers. --Scott Davis Talk 14:12, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

@Evad37: Hi. Could you add Murder of Kylie Maybury to your watchlist?
There's some uninformed speculation online that Mr. Cruel kidnapped, raped and killed Kylie and i don't want that to infect Kylie's article. I don't think that Mr Cruel did it - Mr Cruel was careful not to leave forensic evidence, and whoever raped and killed her left their sperm, pubic hair and DNA all over Kylie. Greetings WikiProject TAFI members!
Over the past two weeks, there has been extensive discussion on introducing bot automation to assist with maintenance of the Today's Articles for Improvement project. A bot has now been approved for trial and will carry out the weekly duties. The bots first run will occur around 00:00, 22 November 2015 (UTC) (midnight on Sunday).
If you have been assisting any of the weekly maintenance tasks, please refrain from doing so this week. The bot needs to be tested and proven it can do the job, and it only gets one chance per week. The tasks will include:
Updating the accomplishments and archiving selections is still done manually, along with daily tasks such as adding approved entries to the articles for improvement page. These will become automated in the near future.
We hope the bot proves to serve well, and by carrying out the routine housekeeping tasks we can boost the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the project. MusikBot thanks you for your service in helping with the weekly tasks in the past, and for your cooperation during this trial period :)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
