Hello, I'm Jonas kam. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Men's European Volleyball Championship, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jonas kam (talk) 23:09, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Men's European Volleyball Championship, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Jonas kam (talk) 01:11, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:2023–24 EHF European League a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2023–24 EHF European League. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 21:56, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. A tag has been placed on 2023–24 LEN Champions League, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2023–24 LEN Euro Cup. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. I believe this is the fourth time now that I've asked you NOT to remove relevant tags from articles, as you did here. The only sources on the article from the organization itself, making it a primary source. The one source tag is appropriate because the website for the organization is the only source used. The article ICC T20 Champions Cup has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unverifiable, there are some old sources all giving different years, but nothing definitive or confirmed
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((proposed deletion/dated))
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing ((proposed deletion/dated))
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fram (talk) 16:42, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
Hello ILoveSport2006,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged 2023 UANA Water Polo Cup for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.
If you don't want 2023 UANA Water Polo Cup to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Thanks for uploading File:LEN Challenger Cup logo.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука13 06:29, 19 September 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:LEN Women's Euro Cup logo2.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:19, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
On September 21 you made multiple additions of the parameters OTwin_AAA and OTloss_AAA to the 2023–24 LEN Challenger Cup, 2023–24 LEN Women's Challenger Cup, and 2023–24 LEN Women's Euro Cup articles, and other duplicate parameters to 2023–24 LEN Women's Champions League article. These duplicate parameters cause these articles to be listed at "Category:Articles using duplicate arguments in template calls". None of us editors who patrol this page periodically are sure how to correctly fix these duplicates. They've been there for 10 days, and it appears that the tournaments are ongoing for several months. Would you mind fixing them so they are no longer duplicated, but also making sure that they're correct? Thanks. Ira Leviton (talk) 14:47, 2 October 2023 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:LEN Women's Challenger Cup logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:04, 21 October 2023 (UTC)

Hi,
I see you've had some challenges with using non-free logos on various articles. Wikipedia is a freely licensed encyclopedia, and tries to minimize the amount of non-free content used. To use non-free content such as copyrighted logos, the usage must meet all of the non-free content criteria. I know this can be a bit confusing. The guidelines for non-free content include examples of uses that are acceptable, and examples of uses that are unacceptable. I can see your interest is in sports and their associated teams, leagues, and competitions. With such an interest, you should look at the examples of unacceptable image use. In particular, point 14, and point 17 are examples of unacceptable use that you must be aware of. A good example for point 14 is LEN Women's Euro Cup. The logo used there is for the competition in general, and the usage is okay. But that same logo cannot be used in 2023–24 LEN Women's Euro Cup because it is a specific instance of the event. I hope that helps clarify things for you. If you have questions about images related to copyright, or non-free usage, you can ask questions at Media Copyright Questions, and for more general editing help, you can post at the Teahouse. Regards. -- Whpq (talk) 18:06, 29 October 2023 (UTC)

I review the Move log and am getting absolutely dizzy from your constant article page moves. Why are you creating articles in main space and then moving them to Draft space? Please just start in Draft space and work on them so they won't need to be moved back and forth between namespaces. And please do not do page moves trivially just because you would prefer a slightly different page title. Moving pages multiple times is disruptive editing so try to consider where an article should go and do just one page move. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:40, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on File:2023 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup logo2.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 03:41, 26 December 2023 (UTC)

Hello. Kindly refrain from uploading duplicated files. Thanks. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 02:28, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:Mladost pool.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
((Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>))
below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 17:48, 27 December 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:2022 Men's World Floorball Championships logo.png.

Hello ILoveSport2006, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, 2030 European Men's Handball Championship, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2030 European Men's Handball Championship.

The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

The 2024 WikiCup is off to a flying start, with 135 participants. This is the largest number of participants we have seen since 2017.
Our current leader is newcomer Generalissima (submissions), who has one FA on John Littlejohn (preacher) and 10 GAs and 12 DYKs mostly on New Zealand coinage and Inuit figures. Here are some more noteworthy scorers:
As a reminder, competitors may submit work for the first round until 23:59 (UTC) on 27 February, and the second round starts 1 March. Remember that only the top 64 scoring competitors will make it through to the second round; currently, competitors need at least 15 points to progress. If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, and you hope to get it promoted before the end of the round, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAN, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges (Cwmhiraeth (talk · contribs), Epicgenius (talk · contribs), and Frostly (talk · contribs)) are reachable on their talk pages. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove your name from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send.
