Art+Feminism is a one-day event to fight the information gender gap. Join us to create and improve Wikipedia articles related to gender, feminism, and the arts. Food, caffeine, and moral support are provided.
All are welcome! No prior Wikipedia experience is necessary. Facilitators will be present to guide editors through tutorials and answer questions. Please bring a laptop and power cord.
If possible, please create a Wikipedia account before the event. You can learn how to do that here.
The library is located on the ground floor of the Kemper Art Museum. See Directions and Parking and Accessibility on the website.
No Wikipedia editing experience necessary; as needed throughout the event, tutoring will be provided for Wikipedia newcomers. Women editors, especially women of color and diverse gender expression, are particularly encouraged to attend. If you are unfamiliar with Wikipedia, you can get a head start with this this training module.
