This redirect also exists on the Portuguese Wikipedia, where the target Sacomar begins "Sacomar, também grafada como Saco-Mar e Savo-Mar" which Google translate renders as "Sacomar, also spelled Saco-Mar and Savo-Mar", cited to [1]. That's now a 404 but the Internet Archive has a copy which verifies the "Saco-Mar" spelling but not "Savo-Mar". The only other place I can find this spelling, other than usernames, OCR errors/collocations (usually something called or abbreviated "Savo" followed by the abbreviation for "March") and derivatives of this redirect is the where it is the article title. I have to agree that the current arrangement does not make sense, as code names are not "former names", but merely more obscure names generally referring to a military operation. • Delete: The target is in my view ambiguous as a codename can be a former name (for example, Microsoft Vista was referred to by the codename of Longhorn, but since the announcement of the name Vista, Longhorn had become obsolete enough to become a former name; however, there are also other codenames, like "Operation Iraqi Freedom", which is still used to refer to the Iraq War enough that it works more as an alternative name.
