The result of the discussion was retarget to Potassium nitrate. plicit 23:49, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Both these redirects should point to the same target. "Niter" was the target for both for several years, but "Saltpeter" was changed to point to "Potassium nitrate" on 10 March 2022. "Potassium nitrate" is probably the better target, but I think the issue should be discussed first. Tevildo (talk) 23:14, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Support changing the Saltpetre redirect to point to Potassium nitrate. Niter refers specifically to the naturally-occurring mineral species, while Saltpetre includes manufactured potassium nitrate. Kent G. Budge (talk) 23:47, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm aware that Philip/Phillipe/Philippe Lheureux wrote Moon Landings: Did NASA Lie? but it's no longer referred to at Moon landing conspiracy theories, or anywhere else in Enwiki I can see. A better target would be the surname SIA L'Heureux. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 20:19, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This seems like a particularly implausible redirect - the violation of conciseness is off the charts and there is no clear presence of the subject specified in the redirect page title on redirect target page. Altogether, seems of little use. Iskandar323 (talk) 17:22, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if this is a good redirect rather than to Semicolon. « Ryūkotsusei » 16:18, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Weird I have to type out the search term semicolon just to go to semicolon, ";" takes me nowhere, and ; [Semicolon] already goes to band article. I've added a hatnote to the band article. « Ryūkotsusei » 14:41, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Is a better title for this perhaps Wikimedia movement? I'm not familiar with people using the phrase "Wikipedia movement" to describe the Wikipedia community, but I have seen stuff erroneously referring to the greater movement as the "Wikipedia movement". — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 04:39, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Point taken regarding The Flash, but I still believe disambiguation is appropriate, as it is completely plausible with this capitalization for a user to be seeking content regarding the fastest animals (=alive things that move) rather than Sonic or the theme song (which it appears is not officially titled "(The) Fastest Thing Alive" but is referred to as such given the lyrics). After all, Sonic is a fictional animal. Regarding Jay's point as it being a nickname for Sonic and not necessarily a reference to the song, Sonic the Hedgehog (character) currently does not mention it, so for now it's best to just link to the TV series. Mdewman6 (talk) 19:43, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I feel like it is plausible for someone to mistakenly look up the “Fastest Thing Alive” instead of the “Fastest Man Alive” when thinking about the flash. Pizzaplayer219TalkContribs 20:18, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Plus this RFD was closed as keep despite the word organism not being synonymous to animals. Pizzaplayer219TalkContribs 20:24, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Even if that is a plausible mistake, disambiguation pages don't have entries for misnomers, that would at best be a "see also". I also don't think the Fastest organisms RfD is comparable. "Fastest organisms" is a plausible search term for someone looking for animals, and you will find the fastest organism there because the fastest organism is an animal. "Thing" is a much broader set; adding "alive" does narrow it, but also makes it implausible for someone looking for real animals. In my opinion, "thing" in this context evokes a fictional character. -- Tavix (talk) 21:15, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I like Mdewman6's analogy of animals = alive things that move. Unless someone can show that "thing alive" may only refer to fictional characters, I think it is plausible to include animals. Jay 💬 12:45, 26 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The FCC data for KLRA-CD, KTVV-LD and KMYA-DT shows that KLRA-CD and KTVV-LD have a different owner, and in KLRA-CD's case, different network affiliation, than KMYA-DT. RAN1 (talk) 04:06, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
