This WikiProject was formed to foster better articles on the Governments of Canada with a spirit of cooperation. This page and its subpages contain suggestions on formatting and layout of articles, which can be discussed at the project's talk page. To add a page to this project, add the ((WikiProject Canada|cangov=Yes)) template to the talk page. To participate, simply add your name at the project member page.
Articles of the format 28th Canadian Ministry are about the membership of the ministry and cabinet. It should have a list of all people who were a member of the ministry at any point during it. It should also discuss any controversies about the membership list and interesting facts about the membership (for example, it had many Westerners, it had the first woman, etcetera).
There is a drive to make all of the lists of Canadian premiers match the format used in the list of Prime Ministers of Canada and list of Ontario Premiers. See /first ministers lists to track the progress.
((Infobox Election)) should be added to all federal, provincial and partisan territorial elections (i.e. Yukon from 1978 on). However, the template organization isn't easily adaptable to non-partisan elections such as those in NWT, Nunavut or pre-1978 Yukon. Current status is as follows:
Federal: 1984 to present done; 1867 to 1980 still require box.
Saskatchewan: only 2007 done.
A test page is available at User:Bearcat/Canadian elections templates, and you can also ask Bearcat for further assistance if needed.
For provincial or territorial elections, just input the province or territory name in the "country" field. This works fine with no further adjustments required.
