The untitled Echo series is an upcoming American television series created by Etan Cohen and Emily Cohen for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise, and is a spin-off from the series Hawkeye (2021). The series is produced by Marvel Studios, with the Cohens serving as head writers.
Alaqua Cox reprises her role as Maya Lopez / Echo from Hawkeye. Development of the series began by March 2021, with the Cohens and Cox attached.
The series will be released on Disney+.

By March 2021, a spin-off from the Disney+ series Hawkeye (2021) centered on Alaqua Cox's Maya Lopez / Echo was in early development for that service from Marvel Studios, with Etan Cohen and Emily Cohen set to write and executive produce.[1]

A writers room for the series had been formed by the time development on the project was revealed in March 2021.[1]
Casting
By the reveal of the series' development in March 2021, Cox was set to reprise her role from Hawkeye as Lopez.[1]
