Reason: The article related to the President of Iran who was just elected today, is being mass edited by none-account users with destructive edits: removing citations, deleting sensitive and confirmed info etc. An protection is needed immediately. Farnaj57 (talk) 15:21, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content – IP users are vandalizing per the page history. Twinkle1990 (talk) 15:33, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
Temporary Semi-Protection: High level of IP vandalism of talk page, trolling by probably same user, hard to tell when IPs can change automatically. This happened after the Nina Power page was ECP, would like semi protection on this page for a week or two to quiet stuff down. Bluethricecreamman (talk) 16:58, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Back and forth editing from IPs and company-affiliated SPAs since April over whether or not this is an Israeli company. Hello there, I have created 30 articles as of now and i am requesting for Autopatrolled right. Xegma(talk) 07:34, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I have created 100+ articles, primarily focused on television series. And I plan to keep doing the same. Thanks for your consideration C1K98V (💬 ✒️ 📂) 08:51, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
As a new page reviewer for the past couple months, I've seen the value of keeping high-quality page creations out of the review backlog. Since 2022, I've created 154 articles (one of which was PROD'ed, uncontested, early on, but I learned from it and that's the only one ever proposed for deletion in any venue). I think my track record of page creation is strong and I'd like to receive autopatrolled rights to reduce the NPP backlog for my future article creations. I'm also autopatrolled for redirects if that's helpful context. Dclemens1971 (talk) 04:43, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
Please give me Autopatrolled rights, i need it because i planned to create more articles on Wikipedia. I recently create the Guwahati–North Guwahati Bridge article and create more in future, i mainly focuses in the infrastructure articles. SuperMightyBoy (talk) 12:32, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
I have created over 85 (or something like that) articles in the last few months, and am requesting the autopatrolled right. Sir MemeGod ._. (talk - contribs - created articles) 06:29, 6 July 2024 (UTC) Sir MemeGod ._. (talk - contribs - created articles) 06:29, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I have created over 105 articles in total and I am requesting the autopatrolled right. GMB205 (talk) 15:06, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'd like to request page mover rights as I often come across articles that do not follow the Wikipedia:Article titles policy and though usually move those articles myself, they sometimes can't be moved due to technical reasons. I have participated in numerous WP:RMs and opened many significant ones, as well as performed many moves myself over the past. Thank you. PadFoot2008 04:07, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
I have been editing for over 7 years and I plan on using this permission in order to help with discussions on WP:RM and deal with cross-redirects for articles that should have more disambiguated titles. KingSkyLord (talk | contribs) 12:46, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm writing to request this privileged role, despite being under the threshold for number of edits, given my demonstrated history of moving pages, particularly disambiguations and maintaining WP:MOS. The main reason being to move articles over others (i.e. redirects). Having this right would have eliminated creating an RfM discussion for something that was formally renamed, for instance, Sound Recorder (Windows) Thank you in advance. MikeM2011 (talk) 18:21, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
I'm a productive user that has warned people in the past for distruptive editing, COI, vandalism and more. I usually try to complete things I start and it is very painful for me to look at Special:PendingChanges having tons of articles. I would definitely try to reduce the backlog. 48JCL 23:45, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
I've been editing WP for 17 odd years and I'm able to identify what is and what isn't vandalism. Also familiar with Wikipedia's basic content policies and the basic legal policy on copyrights. Requesting the right as I have at least two articles on my watchlist (Australian Greens and Linux) for which there are regularly pending changes. I would use the permission to process requests in those article (plus any others that are on my watchlist that I don't see often) and occasionally peaking to see if there is a backlog. TarnishedPathtalk 11:01, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
I am requesting Pending Changes Reviewer permissions to support the review and validation of pending changes on Wikipedia. With 1,057 edits and experience in trust articles and music, I am confident in my ability to accurately review and approve pending changes. I understand the importance of maintaining the integrity and accuracy of Wikipedia's content and am committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and neutrality. Thank you for considering my request. 2RDD (talk) 15:39, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
I have been patrolling Special:RecentChanges for a while. I see a lot of pending changes that needs to be reviewed. I request this permission to improve myself and help the community. Martintalk(sign) 01:41, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
I've been actively editing in different topic areas (mainly politics/civics) on Wikipedia for a few years and have created some new article pages. In this time I have gained a strong understanding of Wikipedia guidelines and would like to apply that to review edits to articles to identify vandalism / inappropriate edits. CrazyPredictor (talk) 01:30, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
I hereby tender my application for the distinguished role of Rollbacker, having accomplished a notable volume of contributions exceeding 500 edits and consistently demonstrated a steadfast commitment to maintaining the highest standards of content quality through the diligent reversion of vandalized pages. I am confident that my expertise and unwavering dedication render me an exemplary candidate for this position, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to further serve the community in this capacity. 2RDD (talk) 10:50, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
I requested Rollback several months ago and my request was was turned down because I didn't have enough anti-vandalism in my recent editing history. I haven't been very consistently active for personal and family reasons so I don't remember the exact course of events after that. After I was turned down I tried filtering the recent changes feed based on suggestions I saw here. This is the latest example of why that hasn't been working for me:
The vandalism was done in multiple edits and part of it survived my revert [3].
I had figured out a way to warn users after my previous request was turned down but after a few months away I don't remember how I was doing it. I wasn't able to find a way to easily warn the user whose username is not clickable the way it usually is when edits are reverted.
I am not planning to use rollback for anything other than reverting vandalism. Is this process really necessary to get the Rollback privilege? Ben Azura (talk) 13:22, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
I believe that I meet the requirements for the rollback user right; I've read WP:RBK and WP:REVERT, have enough edits, try my best to consistently warn users, and I've been reviewing recent changes fairly consistently since around May. I think I have a good grasp of Wikipedia's main policies. I'm also currently enrolled in the CVU Academy. I use Twinkle and Ultraviolet but I would love to be able have full access to Huggle and have another tool to be able to stop vandals so I am requesting rollback rights. Thanks :D. GoldRomean (talk) 19:15, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
I've been editing on Wikipedia for more than three years and i have developed the expertise to identify vandalism and familiarize myself with Wikipedia's content policies and copyright laws. I'm requesting the rights and responsibilities that come with this experience. 𝒮-𝒜𝓊𝓇𝒶 13:39, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
I've been fixing some dark mode as I spot them, some of those are on template-protected pages and I'd like to fix those directly instead of making edit requests. I don't think I fully meet the standard criteria, but I hope I've already demonstrated elsewhere that I won't go around breaking things that I don't fully understand. Taavi (talk!) 17:51, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
fixing ... as I spot themappears to be a sum total of a single template. Is this something you actually think you will need for the short-term future or are you just guessing? Primefac (talk) 18:11, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
