Welcome!
Hello, Supermike, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place ((helpme))
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Mushroom (Talk) 23:08, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't take any of it personally. I just hope people like the new format. It doesn't have 20 pictures all over it, but that was a copyright hazard. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 01:29, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Make sense Im just happy nobody attack my spelling and grammar on here like they do on myspace
Hi, my names Chris Murray. I've noticed your comments a couple of times on the pro wrestling Wikiproject talk page. Just wondering, are you aware that if you finish your comment with "--~~~~, then it will sign your comment with your username, along with a time signature? Additionally, if you are using the edit toolbar option (which must be enabled under Special:Preferences), you may also click the signature icon (
) to add the four tildes. Just a suggestion, as a number of your comments seem to be nothing more than "[[User:Supermike|supermike]]", or even sometimes, "[[supermike|supermike]]" - which links to nothing!
For more information on this, check out Wikipedia:Signatures. Furthermore, take a look at Wikipedia:Signatures#How to sign your posts. These can give you information on how to sign, and even edit your signature to include groovy fonts, symbols and colours. This is just a suggestion, as you are obviously here to be just another tireless contributor to the website, so happy editing! --SteelersFan UK06 06:10, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks so could you help me with my profile to make it like yours --supermike 06:10, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Of course! What would you like to do? --SteelersFan UK06 13:16, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I guess everything— Preceding unsigned comment added by supermike (talk • contribs)
- You forgot to sign the above comment! Add "--~~~~" to the end of your comment (=.
Anyhows, some of the things you can do with your user page are:
Add colour to the background of your user page
Add "<div style="background-color:Insert colour name here;">" to the start of your userpage.
Then the content of the userpage....
Then place "</div>" to the end of where you want the colour to be.
Thats pretty much the most fanciest thing on my userpage, anything else you want to know? --SteelersFan UK06 07:19, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
cool how I guess i want button and stuff I really don
t know what i want Supermike 07:57. 6 August 2007
- What kind of button stuff? --SteelersFan UK06 12:32, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Saying that I have a myspace profile that Im a smallville fan stuff like that Supermike 12:23 pm, 8 August 2007
- ooh, i have another idea, have you had a look at my Userboxes page? Userboxes are a really simple method of expression, and they can make simple statements easily. Any userbox can be added to your page by adding the simple template of "((userbox name here))". See the source code of my Userboxes page for info. Also, any userboxes you may want are probably already here somewhere, so put out a search for "MySpace userbox" or "Bebo userbox" and you will get results. Also, you can take a look at the Wikipedia Userboxes page for more info on what you can have in userboxes, and how to make your own.
Again, any replies will be welcomed. Cheers! --SteelersFan UK06 05:48, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
sound great
Ever heard of a talk page? It's where people talk to each other. Ever heard of vandalizing a userpage? Well, thanks for doing it to mine. Seeing how you can not do anything useful, i'm gonna try to get you blocked. Tech43 22:55, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Royal Rumble (2008), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. D.M.N. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Royal Rumble (2008). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. D.M.N. (talk) 18:17, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Do you source it, for instance provide a link to the article on WWE.com? Despite what others think, your two edits just then were vandalism: [1].
Copy and paste this into the article. Click edit this page and copy and paste the below:
Mike Adamle will make his WWE announcing debut at the pay-per-view.[1]
See if it gets removed then.

Thank you now Im a web developer where can I go to get help with that
- I don't know a lot about that; Wikipedia's page might help. D.M.N. (talk) 18:36, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- It's been removed. It'll be added after the event anyhow, so it doesn't really matter. D.M.N. (talk) 18:45, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
and they wonder why I don't edit this site anymore Supermike(talk) 12:22, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 01:44, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Supermike, and thanks for your request. I'm not 100% sure what you mean by asking for my help in putting "trivia back into the topics..." If you're asking about "Trivia" sections, there are specific guidelines on WP:TRIVIA that discourage such things in Wikipedia articles; most of these have been removed over the last couple of years, although you'll still find some from time to time. Trivia can still be included in an article, if it can be written into the text in an encyclopedic way, and most importantly, if it can be sourced. Unfortunately the nature of trivia often means that it can't be properly sourced. It also sometimes runs into problems with another Wikipedia policy, original research. This doesn't mean that nothing can be included, though - if you have something in mind, and you have a source for it, if you let me know what it is and which article you think it would fit into, I can try to help further. All the best, EyeSerenetalk 13:48, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I didn't mean to put that warning I misread the warning and thought it said "Sign your post notice" but I screwed up so sorry for that well any ways sign your post by putting the four tildes (~ ~ ~ ~)(don't include spaces)and if you don't know were the tildes key is it is at the left of the 1/! key alternately you can just press the tab that looks like a signature above the edit box. Well I hope I helped you. --SuperSilver901 22:34, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at WrestleMania XXV, you will be blocked from editing. Do not edit wikipedia to make a point. You really should know better. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 14:34, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Do not order me around. See my reply at the WrestleMania XXV page. Nobody said it was the 24th WrestleMania. They are saying that it is the 24th anniversary of WrestleMania, and they're right. WrestleMania 1 was the first WrestleMania. WrestleMania 2 was the first anniversary of WrestleMania. WrestleMania 3 was the second aniiversary of WrestleMania. Count on up and you'll find that WrestleMania 25 is the 24th anniversary of WrestleMania, not the 25th like WWE is claiming. Stop insulting people on talk pages and claiming that they are making things up simply because you disagree with them. Everyone will be a lot less inclined to listen to and discuss it with you, because of it. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 14:40, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- No. I never said that. I never even implied that. You're understanding the distinction between the event number and which anniversary it is. WrestleMania was the 20th WrestleMania to be held; however, it was only the 19th anniversary of WrestleMania. I am not saying that WrestleMania 20 was WrestleMania 19, and neither is anyone else. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 15:16, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- No, we're not. You're still not getting the distinction between an event, and the anniversary of an event. They're different, and that's where your confusion is coming from. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 15:26, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- And stop adding message like this to the talk pages of other WrestleManias. You're just being disruptive. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 15:28, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- That's what I'm saying. It's the 25th year of WrestleMania but the 24th anniversary of WrestleMania. That's what everyone is saying. And please stop starting new sections on my talk page, you can just add your comment to the bottom of the old one. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 15:38, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not attack other editors, which you did here: User talk:NiciVampireHeart. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. I've warned you before. Stop calling stupid. I'm trying to help you understand here, and you're insulting me and quick frankly all you're doing is pissing me off. Also, I think you should read WP:SHOUT. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 15:52, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to WrestleMania XX. Alansohn (talk) 15:52, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Editing Tips
This is a section in the newsletter devoted to help familiarize project members with the Manual of Style and general editing tips.
- Avoid using dirtsheets as sources. Adhere to WP:RS when adding information with a source to articles. For a list of reliable and unreliable wrestling-related sources see Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Style guide#Sources.
- Refer to WP:NC during the process of renaming an article, if a name does not adhere to these guidelines, be bold and move the article to the correct target name. If there is a naming conflict, follow the steps to a resolution or discuss the move on the project's talk page.
- Avoid overlinking in an article. If a subject has been linked once already in the body paragraphs, there is no need to link it again. Lists are the only exceptions to this policy.
- The lead section of an article should introduce the subject and summarize the entire article's contents. The size of the lead will depend on the size of the article.
- Adhere strictly to the Biographies of living persons policy when adding to information to biography articles.
- Only add controversial, possibly contentious or libellous information if it comes from a reliable source and is verifiable.
- Make sure that all information contained in biographies of living persons is written from a non-point of view perspective.

Editing Tips
This is a section in the newsletter devoted to help familiarize project members with the Manual of Style and general editing tips.
- The project's New Year's Resolutions are listed here, and a list of topics that are close to Good topic status is listed here. Consider helping by achieving an aim listed or by improving an article on the Topics list to Good Article status.
- Please familiarize yourself with the general notability policy of Wikipedia. Avoid creating new articles that do not satisfy the requirements.
- When the title of an refers to several things, it is necessary to provide links or disambiguate the page so that readers typing in that title can quickly navigate to the article that interests them. For example: World Heavyweight Championship (WWE).
- Please avoid adding rumors to articles. Most rumors cannot be sourced with a reliable source and go against the Biographies of living persons policy.
- Be aware of words to avoid. Certain words, if chosen poorly, can subtly promote a point of view.

As of June 7, we are at 11.76%, with 488 articles currently in Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if members would expand, source and improve stub articles, and a list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers and tag teams that should be fairly easy to improve.

- If making a controversial change, or one that will affect a wide range of article, please gain consensus from the project first.
- Please familiarize yourself with the general notability policy of Wikipedia. Avoid creating new articles that do not satisfy the requirements.
- Refer to WP:NC during the process of renaming an article, if a name does not adhere to these guidelines, be bold and move the article to the correct target name. If there is a naming conflict, follow the steps to a resolution or discuss the move on the project's talk page.
- Avoid adding statements that will date quickly, for example "soon" and "now".

- As part of the project's New Year's Resolutions, there is an ongoing effort to decrease the number of stubs to 5%. As of February 28, we have dipped below 10% for the first time at 9.93%, with 469 articles currently in Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if members would expand, source and improve stub articles, and a list of well-known wrestlers and tag teams that should be fairly easy to improve is included on the stub article subpage.
- Based on the members list, there are currently 238 members participating in WikiProject Professional wrestling.

Editing Tips
This section is devoted to helping project members become familiar with the Manual of Style and general editing tips.
- Avoid using dirtsheets as sources. Adhere to WP:RS when adding information with a source to articles. For a list of reliable and unreliable wrestling-related sources see WP:PW/SG#Sources.

- Please consider helping out with the project's cleanup listing by fixing problems listed and removing the article from the listing.
- Please familiarize yourself with the general notability policy of Wikipedia. Avoid creating new articles that do not satisfy the requirements.
- The Biographies of living persons policy should be strictly adhered to when adding to information to biography articles.
- Only add controversial, possibly contentious or libellous information if it comes from a reliable source and is verifiable.

- As part of the project's New Year's Resolutions, there is an ongoing effort to decrease the number of stubs to 5%. As of April 25, we are at 7.54%, with 361 articles currently in Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if members would expand, source and improve stub articles, and a list of well-known wrestlers and tag teams that should be fairly easy to improve is included on the stub article subpage.
- Based on the members list, there are currently 244 members participating in WikiProject Professional wrestling.
- If you are actively editing and contributing to articles under the scope of WP:PW, it is suggested that you add your name to the list of active members.

It has recently been brought to the attention of WP:PW that the newsletter is being to delivered to several users who have not been actively editing for several months. As a result, their talk pages have become increasingly large, unmanageable and slow to load due to a lack of archiving.
In response, this message is being sent to all editors listed in Category:WikiProject Professional wrestling participants to say that anyone who does not list their name at Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Active before May 16 will be automatically listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Nospam, and will no longer receive the newsletter or any notification of it. If you are added to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Nospam, please feel free to remove your name if you desire.
If you wish to continue receiving the newsletter as normal, please add your name to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Active. If you simply wish to receive notification of a new issue, but not have the full newsletter delivered to your talk page, please add your name to the notification only list.
If you have any queries please contact me at my talk page or leave a message at WT:PW. Thank you for your co-operation. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 00:36, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- A recall is ongoing to see which active members of WP:PW still wish to receive the full newsletter fortnightly. Those that do should add their name to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Active before May 30.
