The 2024 Ipswich Borough Council election will take place on 2 May 2024 to elect members of Ipswich Borough Council in Suffolk, England.[2] This will be on the same day as other local elections.
18 seats will be up for elections, 16 seats for councillors elected in 2021 and two by-elections
The Labour Party needs to win just 1 of the seats up for election to retain their majority on the council, as they already hold 24 from the 2022 and 2023 elections and 25 are needed for a majority
